What is oil spray?! These questions are still unanswered in my brain

Just some hand drawny stuff (i fear i am beginning to get typecast) of overheard conversations. This is nowhere near the finished piece which will remain under wraps.... However it is a glimpse. Some definitely work better than others

"Whats oil spray?" Yes, what is oil spray, such questions in life i fear may forever go without an answer. Or its just oil in a spray can. Who can tell?

I dont know, would they look pimp? What is it that could look pimp? I'm imagining maybe white loafers. They could look awful, or pimp. Or both, something that looks pimp has a high chance of looking awful.

"Oh sweet Boddingtons" I haven't uploaded the Boddingtons bit, but i have gone for the colours associated with it. I will have to try it in order to comment on whether such a phrase is applicable. I'd guess it isnt.

Again, What is oil spray? but this time with a darker H and L. Because the L and H are crucial.

A2B - Arthritis inducing amounts of drawing

These are a set of three images that i drew for a project entitled A2B. I used the idea of answering the brief by only using a 2B pencil. These are scanned in and sewn together sections of what was a completed 20 metre roll of paper. Click on the image and you can see it larger!

This first section of the roll was the first whole pencil i used. It was based on what you can draw without any restrictions. However this complete freedom was a bit overwhelming at times. I really enjoyed the hand drawn type though and knew i wanted to use this again.

This is the second section. Following on from the hand drawn type element of the previous section i drew a series of A's. This was more enjoyable but did get a bit monotonous. Also i feel there is a bit too much white space.

This is the final section of the roll. The idea behind this was to go from the beginning of he dictionary at A to the end of the B section. In total this would have been 93 pages of the Dictionary and after a week of almost continuous drawing i realised it wouldn't be possible as i wasn't even on AB yet. So instead i decided to go from A to he end of AB. This was definitely the most enjoyable part and i think its really effective.

Definitely the best thing i produced during my first year anyway!
